Battlefield 6 has been getting regular updates, so I'm curious how people keep track of compatibility claims for third-party products.
I see old posts saying something is working, but those could have been written before the latest patch.
Is there a sensible way to check whether information is still current?

Check the date first. A post from several months ago isn't proof of current compatibility.

Exactly. I keep finding old screenshots with no date.

Start with the current product listing and any current documentation from the provider.
Then check the game's official update notes.

EA published an anti-cheat metrics update on October 2, 2026, covering enforcement activity during August. It is useful context for understanding that Javelin remains actively maintained.

So the anticheat side changes too, not just the game itself?

Correct. EA's official updates describe ongoing work against cheating tools and evolving methods.

Also, don't mistake "updated" for "undetected" or "approved." They're not equivalent claims.

That's an important distinction.

Exactly. A compatibility statement is about whether something claims to support a version. It doesn't override the official rules.

I'd also keep track of the publication date when using a support article or forum post. It makes old information much easier to identify.

Good point. I'll stop treating random "working" comments as current status.
